Well, as you can imagine Halloween was pretty calm and quiet here. We did go over to the church to hand out candy for Trunk or Treat but the wind was really blowing so they moved inside. The kids got their candy so they were happy. The missionaries came over later in the evening as they aren't suppose to tract on Halloween so they practiced on us for awhile. I think the wind has finally quit after three days of winds up to 70 miles per hour. It did take down a tree in the back yard ( no more golf ball on a string to shoot at) but no harm done. We still have no snow even though it has been well below freezing the last few days. With the change of time it seems really dark and it is only 5:30.
Dad is rather disappointed because they did not put in a buy out with that bill that he has been watching so he will probably have to work a few more years. Hopefully, it won't be too bad for him. I thoroughly enjoyed my time off last week. I spent alot of time working on projects in the garage and got several things completed. Of course, Friday back at work was a catch up day so hopefully I can get all the billing done in the next couple days. Natalie finally seems to be doing a little better health wise so that is a real plus. I hope it continues.
I talked to Grandma today and she was telling me that several schools have closed for a few days there due to the flu. She mentions all the time how much she looks forward to hearing from any of you so please call or email whenever you can. I have really enjoyed all your posts and pictures so hopefully this will continue to be a place where we can stay connected.
On a different note - we haven't used the second remote for the wii for awhile and it won't connect right. We have tried new batteries - the bottom lights light up but the 1 or 2 never light up. Do they just die? Is there anything else we should try or just buy a new one and toss it?
Any thoughts are appreciated it.
Love You All!!!!

Trever says to try syncing your wii remote, apparently you open the door on the front of the wii and push the little red button, then push the little red button in the battery compartment of the remote. If that doesn't work we are all out of ideas, hope that one helps!
ReplyDeleteAll my shots into the golf ball finally got to the tree.
ReplyDeleteMore like all the misses weakened it by hitting the tree instead of the golf ball!
